What makes a good Spec3 donor

• 1993–1995 BMW E36 325i sedan or 325is coupe

  US-market manual cars only: no automatic, convertible, wagon or hatchback (318ti).

Cars are matched by year, make and model. Check the current rulebook before you buy, since trim, engine and transmission details can matter.

Build or buy?

A finished race car almost always costs less than the parts, labor and safety gear that went into it, so building makes the most sense when you want to know every bolt, already have the tools, or can do the cage and wiring yourself.
