Terms of service

RaceCarStuff is a classifieds marketplace where people list race cars, parts, trailers and related gear. We are not a party to any sale. We don't own, inspect or hold the items listed, we don't handle payment or shipping, and we don't guarantee that a listing is accurate, that an item is safe or legal to use, or that a buyer or seller will follow through. Deals are strictly between buyers and sellers.

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Give a real email address and keep access to it; it's how you sign in.
• You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• You can delete your account at any time, as described in our privacy policy.

When you post a listing, you confirm that you have the right to sell the item and that the listing is accurate. Don't list:

• Stolen items, or vehicles with title problems you don't disclose
• Anything illegal to sell or own where you or the buyer are
• Items you don't have, bait-and-switch offers, or the same item posted over and over
• Photos or text you don't have the right to use

Racing equipment is often sold for off-road or competition use only. It's up to buyers and sellers to follow the laws on registration, emissions and safety equipment that apply to them.

Don't use RaceCarStuff to:

• Scam, defraud or mislead anyone, including fake payment or shipping schemes
• Harass, threaten or abuse other users, or send hateful or sexual content
• Send spam or unsolicited advertising through messages
• Scrape the site, overload it, or get around its security or limits
• Pretend to be someone else

You can report a listing or user to us, and we review reports promptly. We may remove content, limit features or close accounts that break these terms, with or without notice.

Some listings are items their sellers advertised publicly on other sites, shown here with a link back to the original ad. They may be out of date; always confirm with the seller. If a listing is yours, you can claim it or ask us to remove it at admin@racecarstuff.com.

You keep ownership of what you post. You give RaceCarStuff a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, resize and share your listings and photos in order to run and promote the service, for as long as they're on RaceCarStuff. If you believe something here infringes your copyright, email admin@racecarstuff.com with the details and we'll take a look.

RaceCarStuff is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. Motorsport is dangerous. Have any car or safety equipment you buy inspected by someone qualified before you use it.

To the fullest extent the law allows, RaceCarStuff and its owners won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for losses from dealings between users. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to $100.

You agree to indemnify RaceCarStuff against claims that arise from your listings, your messages, your deals with other users, or your breaking these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you and we both consent to their jurisdiction.

If you use the iOS app, these terms are between you and RaceCarStuff, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app and is not responsible for it or for any claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and for significant changes we'll let account holders know. Using RaceCarStuff after a change means you accept the new terms.
