Description

Runs and drives, but I'd recommend a trailer for a long trip. Between work, school, and my other interests, I do not have the time I thought I would have for it. Main Details -Make/Model: 2002 Mazda Miata MX-5 LS -Mileage: 178,098 -Engine: 1.8 liter VVT -Title: Clean Missouri title in my name Highlights -Limited-slip diff, 6-speed manual -No rust on frame or body — minor surface rust only in a few spots, and the exhaust has typical rust -Antenna still extends and retracts Recent maintenance/replacements (OEM, unless noted otherwise) -Timing + V-belts -Front crank/cam seals -Crank sprocket, backing plate & harmonic balancer -Valve cover gasket -Full aluminum radiator + silicone hoses (aftermarket) -New alternator (Duralast) -O2 sensors (Bosch) -Fuel pump (unknown brand because the last owner replaced it around 500 miles ago) -Radiator brackets, etc. — ask if you're wondering about something specific Mechanical issues -Intermittent fuel delivery issue at high RPM — happened once, but not diagnosed. Slight whine from fuel pump area (hear it in video). Could be the fuel filter -Mild vibration around 2,800-2,900 RPM (in video) -Small oil leak -Throwout bearing may be going out -Parasitic electrical draw, likely a bad ground -A/C doesn't currently work — there was no refrigerant in the system when I bought it, and I never recharged it Cosmetic issues -Soft top in poor condition, and the rear window was removed -Seats torn -Clear coat is mostly gone -Driver door opens by zip tie because the handle is broken (in video) -Missing interior fuse box panel -Minor crack on the left of the rear bumper Message me if you have any questions
