I reposting this 1969 BMW 2002 race car project for sale, I have taken it about as far as my abilities will allow. It’s time for someone new to continue its journey and enjoy it Fiberglass fenders, front air dam, hood and rear deck lid. Lexan side windows 3 inch, 4 into1 race header with 6 inch diameter custom exhaust and Magnaflow muffler 4 speed transmission 100% locked rear 410 differential updated full cage and fuel cell system 15x7 & 15x8 Epsilon three piece wheels Alpina quick steering rack Adjustable 19mm (front and rear) sway bars Ireland Engineering aluminum radiator VIN 1665393 (chassis), VIN 1670944 (steering) SCCA # 007 489. Black with red and yellow stripe (German flag livery).Built and raced by Mr. Paul Fortner (Oklahoma City) in 1977/78. Raced by James Kimbrough (among others) documented SCCA logbook and history notebook. Raced 1979-1990 in GT-2,3,4 categories and participated SCCA National Championship at Road Atlanta in 1980. Schnitzer style fiberglass bodywork and front air dam, this 114 barely looks stock. The OEM stock hood and rear deck have been replaced with race weight fiberglass. The rear side glass windows have been replaced with light weight Lexan. Updated full welded in rollcage and fuel cell system. Three piece Epsilon 15x7 inch with 205/50 tires and 15x8 inch with 225/50 tires. 15 inch set of 4x100 wheels with tires. 2.0 ltr. M10 from a running Esty Anderson’s 1969 2002 . Mildly modified four cylinder with dual 40DCOE Weber carburetors with TWM intake set up. Innovate Motorsport Air/fuel ratio meter. Belkin DC to AC power inverter. Four into one race header, 6” dia custom exhaust and Magnum muffler. 4 speed transmission. 100% locked rear 410 differential. OMP racing seat and Autopower 5 point harness. Alpina quick steering rack. Adjustable 19mm (front and rear) sway bars. Ireland Engineering aluminum radiator. Spares available with sale; 1. Rebuildable 2.0 ltr. (Korman racing?) M10, 121ti (1968) modified cylinder head, AE(Arno Erola)300 performance cam. lower end with custom (Korman?) oil pan from 1968 IMSA 2002 race car. 2. Spare exhaust race header. 3.
