Description
Car is purpose built for SCCA autocross. Street legal.
Probably one of the most complete builds to date for the class.
1991 Camaro built by Skoons Hot Rods
Motor: started with a brand new 5.3 Aluminum GM crate motor. Advanced induction heads, BTR valve springs, Melling oil pump, ARP bolts, LSA cam , Improved Racing pan baffle, Holley pan, Coated Headers. Braille 17 battery. Dynoed at 400 wheel by PCM.
Tremec TKX 5 speed transmission with Quarter Master racing clutch.
Brakes: complete C5 Corvette brakes all around, BMW m series abs, Hawk pads.
Car is equipped with UMI sub frame, braces, A arms, sway bar and mounts, aluminum radiator, dual fans, Viking double adjustable shocks all around. Skoons front spindles, SKF hubs.
Sweet 10:1 steering box. Detroit Speed frame connectors.
Rear suspension is Skoons IRS with 5th gen Camaro center section, 3.90 gears, tru trac diff, C5 control arms, Drive shaft shop custom axles and CV joint driveshaft. Strano rear sway bar.
Interior has Kirkey seats and Dakota digital gauges Momo steering wheel.
Skoons rear spoiler and custom removable front air splitter.
2 sets of 18”x10” wheels. Forgestar and TSW.
Hinged fiberglass hood.
Car weighs 3150# with a half tank
3 years since completion. Car finished 4th at 2025 National Championships, fastest on day 2. Update. Car finished 3rd last week at the 2026 National Championships., .2 behind the winner. Asking 60k but will consider offers. Available to view at Nationals or before.
