Description

Former SCCA Championship Winning Mustang- $25,000 Putting my car up for sale. Wasn't planning on selling it, but I just haven't been able to get to the track much lately and I'd rather see it on track than let it sit. 2009 Perry chassis. Started off as a circle track car before being converted for road racing by Josh Bews. Plenty of room for a tall driver (I'm 6'6", 220 lbs and there's room to spare). This is a proven front-running car. I've won multiple SCCA championships in it, it won a GASS championship with its former owner, and I've set multiple track records with it. If you're looking for one of the fastest cars you can buy for the money, not to mention low maintenance, this is it. - Former SCCA and GASS championship-winning car - 3 SCCA championships with current owner - 2 Thunderhill track records with current owner - Consistent front-runner in the Big Bore class - Has run with and consistently beaten GT Porsche's and Ferrari's at a fraction of the cost - All SCCA championships and track records were won on TA2 take-off tires, making it even more affordable to run and I still don't know what it's capable of on stickers. - Current open 604 crate engine with approximately 5 weekends since refresh - Spare open 604 crate engine included. Pulled after 5+ seasons of racing and set a Thunderhill track record its last weekend out. Swapped it out of precaution because it's probably due for a refresh. - Both engines make approximately 525 hp at the crank - These engines have proven to be incredibly reliable and low maintenance, lasting years of full-time racing between refreshes - Transmission and rear end have approximately 4 weekends since refresh Also Included: - Spare body parts - 3 spare sets of wheels - 1 used set of Goodyear rain tires with one day at Sonoma on them The wrap is starting to show its age and will probably need to be replaced, but mechanically the car is ready to race. The car is currently stored at Thunderhill. $25,000 takes everything except the seat. If you want to run with some of the fastest fendered cars without breaking the bank, you won't find a better deal than this.
