Description
PLEASE READ THE FULL LISTING.
The good:
-One of the earliest Miata's out there. Made in Japan in 12/89.
-Clean title in my name.
-Actively registered/insured/driven.
-Fully Build SCCA EST Autocross Car. This is a turn-key affordable racecar that is reliable and easy to maintain. Install a roll bar and it can be just as fun and good on race tracks.
-Extremely low rust chassis.
-Manual transmission, manual steering, crank windows and no A/C. One of the lightest and simplest Miata's out there.
-Almost everything on the car has either been extensively serviced, rebuilt or replaced within the last 10 years.
-Viscous limited slip rear differential.
-Mechanic/Enthusiast owned.
-Fully synthetic fluids used every time.
-New lightweight Battery.
-Hot Heat.
-Original Owner manual / Hanes Manual / Two keys.
-Intake, header and full exhaust. 100 cell high flow cat and a test pipe.
-Ohlins Road and Track Coil-overs with Roadster Sport extended rear top hats.
-All bushings replaced with stiffer polyurethane.
-All ball joints and tie rods replaced.
-Roadster Sport stiffer Engine mounts.
-Racing beat hollow front sway bar with adjustable end links and reinforced mounting points.
-Hawk HPS pads with rebuilt calipers and new Centric rotors.
-After market 15 inch lightweight alloy wheels with Bridgestone RE71RS tires. Still have the OEM 14 inch Daisy wheels with All season tires. Both sets with good tread.
-3 inch lap harness bolted in while retaining factory seat belt.
-Factory seat have been foamectomy to hold driver and passenger in better.
I removed the entire interior to clean and repaint as well as added additional sound and heat insulation.
-The interior is overall in great shape.
-I have lots of spare parts the can be included in sale.
-There are many more things. As I remember them I'll come back and add them.
The Quirks:
-The Silverstone Metallic paint is notorious for being thin and lightweight and because of this easy to chip. Which it is. I spray paint it from time to time to repair.
-Chip in windshield. Repaired and resin filled.
-Small hole is soft-top that has been patched. Does not leak.
-One small rust spot on body shown in picture.
