Description

For sale is a competitive running 1995 BMW 325i sedan (M50 stock engine), plus a second engine - an E36 M3 (S50) motor The car was built for the Lucky Dog endurance racing league (https://www.racelucky.com/) At a glance: -Sparco FIA touring car roll cage -Sparco seat, Sparco harnesses*, window net, Sparco steering wheel, Sparco fire system -HSD coilover suspension and HSD front camber plates -Stock M50 engine with a rebuilt long block - forged CP pistons, rings, bearings, etc -ZF five-speed E36 M3 gearbox -Complete E36 M3 (S50) motor on a pallet -Starter, alternator, water pump, timing chain, etc were replaced -Bosch fuel injectors and Bosch coil packs were replaced -Turner suspension parts (sway bars, bushings, shock mounts, etc) -Magnaflow exhaust -Interstate battery (July 2023) -Two full sets (8 wheels) Enkei TX5 platinum gray 17x6 wheels -Many spares included such as coil packs, brake pads and various parts What you'll need – a driver/pit radio system, we recommend https://www.sampsonracing.com/ We purchased the sedan and had the FIA Sparco cage professionally installed. The stock engine was rebuilt by a local shop - wearable items such as bearings, rings, lifters, timing chain, injectors, sensors, hoses, oil pump etc were all replaced; as the car had an automatic transmission we converted it to manual with a ZF M3 gearbox The chassis was strengthened with the various Turner Motorsports reinforcement kits (motor mounts, diff carrier, rear shock towers, rear sub frame, rear sway bar mounts, chassis etc) Appearance - there's a dent in the front bumper and the hood, there's slight body damage to the left rear wheel arch and a couple of small dents here and there – these were present on the car when we bought it and gives the old girl some character. What it needs most is a hood, I've been keeping my eyes open but the ones in the junkyards are worse - this isn't a perfect car (if that's what you're looking for) but is a lot of fun to drive The car has scored some 3rd place finishes at Big Willow, a 4th place at the Buttonwillow 12-hour and has run numerous track days. It's fun to drive, predictable and great for endurance racing. If you want more fun and be a wolf in sheep's clothing, swap in the M3 motor! Depending on your location, delivery for a fee may be negotiated * New Sparco 6-point harness included, your choice of color
