THE BUILD • 2002 Honda Insight – stripped of all original hybrid propulsion and retrofitted with Honda Civic R 1800 engine, 5 speed transmission, front suspension and Civic brakes on all four corners which makes for a 1700 lb car with 140HP at the wheels! One of the easiest cars to enter for driver changes. • Link Engine management system with digital dash and drive by wire throttle. • Racing fuel cell with quick refueling setup. • Provisions for radio, Flagtronics, and time tracking • Power steering!
